Waking up and enjoying first a delicious breakfast – as you might expect for your amazing holiday. In the morning, we serve crisp rolls, aromatic wholegrain bread and a wide variety of egg dishes, served with roasted bacon upon request. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet includes fruity jams, golden woodland honey, creamy butter from the Alpine pasture, hearty ham as well as savoury spreads and cheese, among many other delicacies. The pleasant smell of freshly brewed coffee fills the air and the steaming teapot stands nearby. Fine fruit juices round the breakfast marvellously off. You can also choose from various cereals and muesli, either with fresh fruit or simply with yogurt. Our breakfast is always a treat, for we want you to fully enjoy your stay with us.
You have never eaten from a “hat”, have you? Although it may not sound so appetizing at first, it is a true delight, notably at Auenhütte Hotel. Come and taste for yourself. A “hat meal” is truly an amazing dining experience. A heated “Tatar’s Hat” is placed in the middle of the table. The brim is filled with a hearty beef broth and vegetable julienne. When the “grill” is hot, you can start. Place locally sourced meat and vegetable at your discretion on the “hat”, let it sizzle shortly pouring from time to time a little beef broth from the brim over it. With that, we serve homemade dips, oven-baked potatoes, baguette and a big bowl of crunchy salads … A real treat!
When you stay with us, our half board option is an excellent choice. A delicious four-course menu then awaits you for dinner, starting with a savoury soup and crunchy salads, followed by Austrian and international delicacies, including classic and creative contemporary dishes. And to finish off, your taste buds will once again be tantalised with mouth-watering desserts. You really deserve it!
Before partying in our LAUBELA Pub, you can indulge yourself with all kinds of culinary delights throughout the day (and, of course, for dinner). Notoriously, the mountain air makes hungry and we strive to appease the hunger at its best, whether you are a meat lover, a sweet tooth or a vegetarian. In the Laubela Pub, you are served various culinary treats, whereas at the Auenhütte Hotel you can indulge yourself with hearty classics, such as cutlets, grilled chicken and sizzled savoury sausages. Of course, you can also taste vegetables in all variations. The meals are rounded off with a choice of desserts, including “Kaiserschmarrn” (sliced Austrian-style pancake), “Germknödel” (sweet yeast dumplings) and strudel, among other sweet delicacies. We can actually cater for all tastes. You can also choose from a variety of dishes of the day and children’s meals. To accompany the meals, our wine list offers a choice among exquisite wines. The Landlady Tanja, who is also sommelier, will gladly give you advice.
Then you should join us in the Laubela Pub, where you are served drinks in a laid back party atmosphere with cool music. You are also welcome to spend a leisurely evening with your family or friends in our cosy dining room. The choice is yours.
