There are countless quiet footpaths leading through wide valleys, across lush mountain meadows and woodlands filled with pleasant scents. Get away from it all taking a walk to hidden places where you can unwind in harmony and in rhythm with nature. One of the most popular walking routes, leading to the “Schwarzwassertal” Valley, starts right on the doorstep. A delightful footpath with gentle uphill and downhill sections takes you within 50 minutes to the “Melköde” pasture. Continuing for about 45 minutes, you will arrive, after having made your way up over steps and some more arduous ascents, at the “Schwarzwasserhütte” Inn (Our suggestion: taste the cheese dumplings with salad). If you are looking for a greater challenge, you can climb to the “Gottesacker” plateau, a protected karst area, presumably the most interesting site of its kind in the Alps.
